On 13th April, Gaby Sultana, Prohealth’s medical representative for Laboratorios KIN organised an educational seminar for dentists here in Malta. The seminar delivered by Dr. Jan-Marc Muscat, a specialist in orthodontics, was about the recent advances in interceptive orthodontics.
Laboratorios KIN, founded in 1964, is a market leader in oral healthcare with the purpose of developing innovative products that meet the needs of oral healthcare professionals and consumers.
Throughout the past month, we have launched our Corporate Social Responsibility initiative to give back to society, giving particular attention to the environment and improving the social well-being of people from all walks of life. As part of this CSR initiative, donations from the participating dentists were collected instead of registration fees. In agreement with the speaker and all participants, these were matched by Prohealth and donated to Beating Hearts Malta, a Maltese association for adults and children with congenital heart defects. The amount totalled €1,370.
As a token of appreciation, Prof. Victor Grech, one of the founding members of Beating Hearts Malta presented a painting by Prof. Pierre Mallia to Gaby Sultana on behalf of Prohealth.
