As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility focus, Prohealth has been committed to and will continue to embark on initiatives that help safeguard our environment. Internally, a number of projects with regards to processes and procedures have already been implemented in order to reduce our carbon footprint. Other initiatives such as the Seabin® in Spinola Bay were also launched a couple of years back and are still ongoing.
Last Saturday 4th June, as part of World Environment Day, Prohealth employees, management, and some of our amazing influencers joined NGOs Żibel and Nature Trust for a 5-hour land and sea clean-up at Ċirkewwa. During the clean-up, volunteers successfully collected:
128.42 kg Plastic
231.87 kg Ropes & Fishing Gear
10.10 kg Glass
467.14 kg Metal
1,509 kg Mixed & Bulky Waste
Total: 2,346.97 kg
All volunteers were provided with Vichy Capital Soleil® & La Roche Posay Anthelios® Sunscreens for optimal sun protection.
Further activities in favour of the environment, our common heritage, are envisaged in the coming months.
