On the 25th of May 2022 Prohealth together with our Libyan partner Wadi Zen launched Ursapharm’s Retaron in Tripoli. The event was hosted at the Corinthia Hotel in Tripoli, which attracted 119 Ophthalmologists and was live streamed to an audience of 37 Ophthalmologists in Benghazi’s Berenice Hotel.
This launch event consisted of four talks by Libyan Ophthalmologists Dr Fathi Zenbil, Dr Wafa Qsoda, Dr Abdulraouf Hnidi and Dr Khalifa Alswidi. These were followed by a presentation on Age Related Macular Degeneration by Mr Mario Vella Chairman of the Department of Ophthalmology Mater Dei Hospital, Malta.
Mr. Kenneth Ellul, Prohealth’s Ursapharm Brand Manager for Malta, Libya and Sudan introduced Retaron, a food supplement that protects cells from oxidative stress to help maintain normal vision.
Mr Ellul stated that “the launch of Retaron reaffirms Prohealth’s, Ursapharm’s and Wadi Zen’s commitment to provide the Libyan Ophthalmologists with the latest pharmaceuticals, medical devices and food supplements for the benefit of their patients and to improve their patient’s quality of life.”
